We offer a unique cavern diving experience; tours are operated more as mini-class than as cattle-boat style than as cattle-boat style, “jump in the water and get moving” sort of a tour.
The day begins with a thorough orientation to cavern diving, including the explanations of the cavern environment and techniques used to safely dive in the cenotes.
We find that divers are much more confident, and enjoy the dives more, when they have a good understanding of what they are looking at and what they are doing. Once at the cenotes, we take out time to carefully check weighting, and practice a bit in the open area to get everyone comfortable before entering the cavern.
Cavern tours are completely private. We do not combine groups of people who do not know each other, and each day is conducted at the pace and within the comfort level of the dive team.
As the tours are private, we can happily accommodate specific site requests, start times, and any other requests you may have.
The maximum group size if four divers per guide, and we can easily accommodate large groups by using multiple instructors.
